30th Annual AMRA Jim McClure Memorial Nitro World Finals
Rockingham Dragway
Rockingham, North Carolina
October15 -17, 2021
After finding a faulty ignition coil, we headed to Rockingham with high hopes. We came right out of the trailer and ran a personal best...6.53 seconds @ 204 mph. Q2, the bike started drifting and Tim had to abort the run. We decided to skip the last round of qualifying and enjoy some team bonding while celebrating Gina's 50th birthday. On Sunday, the weather turned cooler so we were excited about first round eliminations because cooler weather typically means more power. In fact Tim was so excited, he couldn't wait for the Christmas Tree to turn green resulting in a red light start. While it was disappointing not to advance to the next round, the team was very pleased to leave Rockingham with a base tune-up on the bike.
